As a follow up to last week’s blog I feel compelled to share how my family has always worked in unison to support each other. As parents from the time we learned our family of three would be blessed with a new addition we knew our first born son Reginald Jr would need to know the importance of his role in the new family unit.

Little did we know at the time that our daughter Chantel would have a learning disability, but the most amazing thing came out of this challenge. From the time we learned of her challenge until now Reginald has been the best big brother that anyone could ever ask for. He has never had one moment of doubt to walk by his sister’s side with nothing but pride and total support of who she is.

This gives me great pride to know the best of me is in these two great human beings that I call my children.
